Recently, Paper Route Empire’s own Young Dolph hosted a private “Wake & Bake” Brunch at the Street Execs headquarters here in Atlanta and HHS1987 was on the scene to catch up with Young Dolph.
Young Dolph discussed his “Wake & Bake” brunch and why he felt it was important to giveback and show love to the DJ’s and people who have helped him reach success. Dolph has been known to host events like this for DJ and media and his peers in the music business and he didn’t disappoint with a menu of Red Velvet “Wake & Bake” Waffles, Cheese Grits, Home Fries, Fried Chicken Wings and Orange Juice.
Young Dolph also spoke with us about his latest project entitled ‘High Class Street Music 5: The Plug Best Friend’. Young Dolph discussed his 18 track project and why chose to work with the producers and artist on this project. Following his hit single “Preach”, Young Dolph explained that each track on ‘High Class Street Music 5: The Plug Best Friend’could be his next hit. Young Dolph explained that he puts his all into his music and expects nothing but the best when he leaves the booth.
Before concluding the interview, Young Dolph explained to artist looking to get into the music why it’s so important to be hands on with everything you do. Young Dolph informed us that he has found this strategy to work best. Young Dolph spoke on investing his own money, owning his label and being in control of his future. “This is my life, my career, wherever my career goes, its all on me”.
With Young Dolph planning to sign new artist and continue to tour and release new music, 2015 should shape out to be a huge year for Young Dolph and Paper Route Empire.
