1900Rugrat taps Kodak Black for high octane remix to viral “One Take Freestyle”

Surging out of South Florida behind his relentless bars and crackling charisma, 1900Rugrat is one to watch in 2025. Setting the tone for the new year, he’s linking up with Florida hero Kodak Black for the remix to his viral “One Take Freestyle,” which is out now across all platforms.

Originally released last summer, the “U.O.E.N.O.”-flipping “One Take Freestyle” put 1900Rugrat on the map. Propelled by his neck-snapping delivery, quotable bars, and an electric On the Radar performance (3M views), the track went viral, generating over 50 million streams across platforms. On the remix, Kodak fits naturally over the beat’s speaker-rattling bass, sliding in with his signature drawl for a supersized verse: “What you think of me changin’ 19 to 1800 / I’m a rugrat, I keep a choppa on me.” The South FL duo teased the remix during Kodak’s Rolling Loud Miami set last month, creating yet another viral moment and leaving fans anxiously awaiting the official release of the remix.
