Icewear Vezzo has the Detroit rap game on lock; with each release he continues to dominate the genre. His latest video, “Shifter” is out today. Rhyming over gently driving snares and an elegant electric piano, Vezzo’s signature rasp cuts through as he methodically highlights his lavish lifestyle: “Thirty thousand in my pocket, ’cause I’m a shifter/All these diamonds around my neck, b*tch, I’m a shifter,” he declares on the hook. Directed by Diego, the video features Vezzo cruising in two luxury rides—a matte black Cybertruck and a tricked-out Rolls Royce Wraith—bringing his wealth back to his home neighborhood of 6 Mile in Detroit.
