PRE’s own PaperRoute Woo is back and he’s still floating on the beat in his new video single “Bubblegum.” Over hypnotic keys and a steady bass line, the Memphis native calls out the people who try to fake a life of luxury. In the video, Woo posts up in his neighborhood with Gucci on from head to toe. He links with his crew at a convenience store while he flexes about the perks that come with being one of Memphis’ hottest risers. I love that the song has an old school trap vibe between Woo’s flow and the instrumental.
“Bubblegum” is the first single from PaperRoute Woo’s upcoming project Slime Dunkin’ dropping later this year. My fave fact about the project is that the cover was inspired by the cover of his mentor Young Dolph’s first mixtape Paper Route Campaign. Slime Dunkin’ will be Woo’s first project since Boyz N The Hood, his 2022 collaborative project with his PRE brother Snupe Bandz.
