Jay Fizzle – DonaFizzo (Deluxe Edition) [Album Stream]

Paper Route Empire’s longest-tenured artist Jay Fizzle is destined for Hip-Hop royalty. Eager to establish his name far beyond the city that raised him, the Memphis rapper refines his grind on the deluxe version of his mixtape DonaFizzo (Deluxe) out now via Paper Route Entertainment. This deluxe installment is Memphis through and through, featuring nine brand-new tracks. Among the new songs on DonaFizzo (Deluxe) are “Major,” which combines a sample from his late mentor Young Dolph with the classic instrumental from Gucci Mane’s “Bricks,” and “Tello N Bart,” a collaboration with fellow PRE lifer Key Glock that plays upon each of their cartoon alter egos (the Ninja Turtle for Fizzle and the Simpson for Glock). A quality I admire about Fizzle is how he’s able to flex his street status while making sure the project remains fun with references to Dragon Ball Z, Lion King, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which inspired the name of this project.
