When you’re on a journey to make it to the top like Kenny Muney, you have to move with a certain mantra: “No Days Off.” Kenny lives by this and it shows in his new video as he takes inspiration from the constant hustle and grind of his late mentor Young Dolph and idol Kobe Bryant. The opening track on his recent project Time is Muney, which will also appear on the upcoming Time is Muney (Deluxe), “No Days Off” finds the South Memphis native coming through with braggadocious bars over an instrumental led by dark, striking piano keys.
The video kicks off with motivational quotes about work ethic and greatness from both icons, Kobe and Dolph. Kenny puts in all kinds of work in this video, from breaking down boxes in a high-vis vest to trimming product in a grow house to working remotely as a salesman in the hand-to-hand department. It’s cool to see how much Kobe and Dolph have inspired Kenny, from Dolph’s influence being heard in his music and him tapping into his inner Mamba as he rocks a bald cap and Lakers jersey.
