Video: Key Glock – Something Bout Me

The French emperor Napoléon Bonaparte once famously stated, “If you want something done right, do it yourself.” Perhaps if the military leader lived to witness the career and independence of Key Glock and Paper Route EMPIRE, he would’ve been more successful in his endeavors. Nevertheless, Glock continues to do it himself, building on his streak of featureless projects with the release of Yellow Tape 2. The followup to 2020’s Yellow Tape, which peaked at #16 on the Billboard 200, sees the Memphis native deliver tight flows and witty punchlines while remaining unbothered as ever.

To celebrate the release of Yellow Tape 2, Key Glock unleashes the video for “Something Bout Me,” which sees the Memphis emcee and a bevy of baddies plotting which car on Glock’s wish list they’ll help him obtain next — “Let me tell you n****s lil something ’bout me/ I got nine cars, they don’t need no key/Glock on my side, I be riding through the streets/I be getting to the money, I got need for speed.”
