Young Dolph is no stranger to large amounts of money, and today he’s enjoying the finer things in life (stacks of cash in a Ziploc bag) alongside Paper Route EMPIRE signee Kenny Muney in the video for “Ashtray.” The song comes from the first-ever PRE label compilation tape, PAPER ROUTE iLLUMINATi, which saw label boss Dolph putting on his newest signees and reminding everyone how his raps are timeless. “Ashtray,” gets its power from the contrast between Dolph’s methodical flexes and Kenny Muney’s locked-in triplet flow, and it’s one of my personal favs so I’m glad it’s finally got the video treatment.
