Video: Chitana – Hard Times

Chicago’s Chitana brings hard work and a conversational flow Young Dolph’s Paper Route EMPIRE as their new signee. Showing the world what he’s capable of in his first PRE release, Chitana shares “Hard Times,” a soulful and reflective track seeing Chitana thinking about his upbringing in Chicago, all that the city has endured, and how the principles of perseverance and a strong work ethic were instilled in him from a young age: “Man we used to shovel snow, even rake some leaves/My n****s did done some sh*t that you wouldn’t even believe.” The video is a tribute to his hometown of Chicago’s strong spirit during the pandemic, as Chitana gives a tour of some notable Chitown landmarks and the camera takes time to focus on the city’s citizens and their struggle.
