Morray – Street Sermons [Album Stream]

Morray is a superstar in the making. The Fayetteville, North Carolina native has been buzzing since last fall with the release of “Quicksand,” and today he welcomes us into his spiritual, charismatic, and entertaining world with his first full length project. Street Sermons is 13 tracks of just him, no features, where he taps into the spiritual uplift and church-trained singing that makes his brand of hip-hop so unique and soulful. He puts it on wax that money will never change him on “Mistakes,” shows love to people who can turn bad into good on “Trenches,” and on the final track, “Bigger Things,” it feels like we’re experiencing his meteoric rise first hand along with him — almost like he turned around in the studio and marveled, “Is this my life now?”

To celebrate the Street Sermons release, Morray shares the video for “Can’t Use Me.” In the video, he poses in a radio station that he has taken hostage, broadcasting his message to the world that he isn’t to be played with. In typical Morray fashion, you can’t help but bop along no matter what message he’s delivering.
