Shordie Shordie x Murda Beatz – Memory Lane [Album Review]

Shordie Shordie pairs up with Canadian record producer Murda Beatz for a walk down “Memory Lane.” The 12-track collaborative project was released on Warner Records and includes 1 feature with Ohio rapper Trippie Redd. “LOVE” is a standout on the album, with a hook that is impossible not to sing in the shower (or wherever one sings about l-o-v-e). However, the entire song collection listens as one cohesive unit making it challenging to single out singles. As one commenter stated on Shordie’s Instagram: “no skips at all.”

Every effort is as hard as the next as Murda Beatz lives up to his name on each instrumental. In an Instagram poll on @murdabeatz an active feed of supporters selected “No Jewelry” as their personal favorite record. Browsing through the internet feedback, it’s evident returning fans of 2020’s “More than Music” are back on board with “Memory Lane” and highly satisfied with this unforgettable release.

Recently, Murda Beatz partnered up with Psychedelic Water (@psychedelicwater) for the brand launch of the new beverage which claims to be the “first legal psychedelic for mild, hangover-free fun.” Murda also appears on Ariana Grande’s “Test Drive” out now.
