Video: Slayter & Yungeen Ace – Hood Famous

The world’s definitely got us all little f****ed up right now, but you don’t need to tell NYC’s Slayter that. With his upcoming record, World Got Me Fucked Up Vol. 1 on the way via Cinematic Music Group, he’s enlisted one of his labelmates, Yungeen Ace, for “Hood Famous” – a mix of some grimy NY hip-hop and melodic South-Florida trap.

The @iamfredfocus directed visual brings us uptown to Slayter’s hometown neighborhood of Dyckman, hitting rooftops, shooting dice, and smoking gas. The video ends with some shots of Slayter in front of his very own mural – a real piece of pride for a New Yorker striving to be “Hood Famous.” With him and Ace leading the way, plus cameos from Smoke DZA, Luh Kel, and Luh Solider, the video is truly a CMG family affair.
