Video: Mo3 – Black Corona

Coming from Dallas, it’s hard for Mo3 to think about a global pandemic, when he sees plenty of problems in his own hometown. Over the weekend, Mo dropped a new freestyle and accompanying music video titled “Black Corona,” which has already amassed over 500k views on YouTube.

Soulfully sing-rapping atop a guitar-laden instrumental, Mo3 reveals how his community is left behind, even in (or especially in) times of crisis: “People hurtin’ yea the system, so sorry/They say the virus got us hacked/But where I’m at we livin’ bad.” In times like this, Mo really just wants to put the spotlight on where he came from.
