Video: Fredo Bang – Yo Slime

Barking tough-talking rhymes with a deeply musical delivery, Fredo Bang is the new voice of Southern street rap. His music has a bounce that he can’t escape because of his deep Louisiana roots. Coming through with his latest war cry, Fredo shares “Yo Slime.”

Even while discussing the grimmest topics, Fredo Bang has a unique melodic rasp that allows his hard street topics to sound fun and maybe, in this case, charming. The production lowkey mirrors that of a more seductive song while Fredo raps over trilling flutes, warning that he’s not one to be messed with: “Check it don’t respect it, .40, glock, or Smith-and-Wesson/Last time we used a Drake, we had to teach a b***h a lesson.”

This new song follows Fredo’s official release of “Vest Up,” which has over 3.5 million views on YouTube. Additionally, this month, Fredo announced that he’s joining Moneybagg Yo as the highest-billed supporting act on the “Time Flies Tour.”
