Video: Berner Ft. Pablo Chill-E – Box Boy

Cookies SF founder and prolific rapper Berner always puts in the work. In the video for “Box Boy,” featuring rapper Pablo Chill-E from Chile, the pair box up (an insane amount) of bud while posted up in the studio, proving that Berner didn’t become a mogul in music and marijuana without multitasking on both crafts simultaneously. Don’t worry, it’s not all work and no play: the pair kick back in Berner’s Benz later in the video.

“Box Boy” comes from Berner’s new LP La Plaza, out now via EMPIRE. It’s 21 hazy tracks that sometimes literally, sometimes figuratively tell Berner’s tails of being a music and marijuana mogul. Complete with glistening instrumentals, La Plaza is atmospheric and most definitely 420 friendly, especially with the title being a nod to the Mexican cartel’s word for “the block.” He enlisted all the homies for it, with production from the likes of The RZA and Scott Storch to features from Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Cypress Hill, and Spanish-speaking emcees such as De La Ghetto and Jon Z and more.
