Video: Memo 600 – Wipe Yo Nose

Rhyming in clipped cadences with an off-kilter menace, Lil Durk’s OTF signee Memo600 is quickly making a name for himself in the Chicago scene. Exploring his hometown’s rich history of organized crime, Memo shares the high-class clip for “Wipe Yo Nose.”

Decked out in suits and ties and driving period-correct weapons and luxury vehicles, Memo takes us back to the Roaring Twenties in the video, staging a version of the Prisoner’s Dilemma with two opps in his custody. Directed by Laka Entertainment (Famous Dex, NLE Choppa, Calboy), “Wipe Yo Nose” paints an opulent, yet ugly portrait of gangsta life, drawing parallels between Chicago’s violent past and violent present. With a flow as violent as the song’s subject matter, Memo’s “Wipe Yo Nose” is the latest in a line of street hits, including “Steppers,” which has 4.1M views on YouTube, and “Locked In,” his collaboration with El Hitta.
