Video: OMB Peezy – Pressure

While “Pressure” does not appear on Humble Beginnings, the minimalist piano–laced instrumental serves as a showcase for Peezy’s lyrical dexterity as he spazzes for 2 and-a-half minutes, no hook needed. Like most of his past singles, including “Porch” and the anthemic “Lay Down,” Peezy balances self-aggrandizing braggadocio with careful self-reflection. “Work too hard just to get that money I’ll never let a nigga take that from me,” he declares boldly. Humble Beginnings is on the way, due out in October via Sick Wid It/300 Entertainment.
