Gordo is a Virginia resident by way of Chicago. He has become one of the most influential artists in his area in less than a year. With the success of him and the rest of the YAP crew, it’s clear they are next. The song is simple; his only goal is to get bread. There are so many people stressed with COVID-19; Gordo is not one. He used this downtime to really gear up musically for the future.

His singles have been heating the streets of Northern VA in a way not many have seen before. His calm flow and chilling production have created a lane for him. Many rappers get to fly, but not many can talk about it the way Gordo does. He’s always been the first to start a trend, and his music is no different.

The new EP Swish Tape features a fire album cover that resembles Playstation’s classic game NBA Ballers. The tape clocks in at just under 30 minutes, and it’s all heaters.
