New Orleans rapper A. Levy is back with his new album Reparations which is the follow-up to last years Squares Delegation. The 12 track project is being called one of the most significant Southern Hip-Hop albums of the last decade and features Brooklyn’s own Skyzoo. The album is unique, doesn’t ride any current trends or waves and has a regionless sound. Clocking in at 40 minutes the project is filled with top-notch storytelling, punchlines, and metaphors. Throughout the album, he touches on many different topics ranging from his love for hip-hop, racial issues from different perspectives, black fatherhood on the standout track “Black Boy” and much more.
