Video: Lil Durk – Granny Crib

Chicago’s Lil Durk is experiencing a career resurgence after declaring his independence and leaving Def Jam Records. Yesterday, Durk released the fourth music video from his recently released Just Cause Y’all Waited EP.

The “Granny Crib” video flashes back to Durk’s humble beginnings, as he reminisces about the roaches in his granny’s crib that he grew up in. However, most of the video takes place in his new crib, as he proves that he’s made it past the hardships and has found success. The “Granny Crib” video follows the somber, Bone Thugs inspired “Cross Roads” video, the uptempo “When I Was Little” video, and the videos for lead singles “How I Know” featuring Lil Baby (now approaching 9M views) and “1-773 Vulture,” Durk’s take on Logic’s “1-800-273-8255.” As Durk continues his independent grind, expect more music ahead of Signed Of The Streets 3.
