Peewee Longway might not be the most recognizable artist in trap music, but he has been one of the most important since he came on the scene. The MPA BandCamp clique leader and 1017 Records affiliate is the one who introduced Young Thug to Gucci Mane, leading to Thugger getting signed. He’s also one of the first to invent the “dab.” Today, he’s returning with a new project, Spaghetti Factory.
Teaming up with ATL sound architect Spaghetti Jay, Longway prepares Spaghetti Factory, his next mixtape. Bringing his own signature blend of sauce to Spaghetti Jay’s whimsical and aqueous trap productions, Peewee shows off his skills on the new mixtape, displaying an acrobatic command of cadence and flow. Spaghetti Factory is the follow up to his 2017 mixtape The Blue M&M 3, which features the sleeper hit “Rerocc” (1.6 million streams on Spotify and over 8.5 million views on YouTube).
