Video: Jimmy Wopo – Lost [Prod. By Sonny Digital]

Jimmy Wopo has linked with producer Sonny Digital for “Lost,” the first single from their collaborative Jimmy Digital project. Accompanied by a video directed by Catch Rec Media, the 20-year-old Pittsburgh rapper flexes from the sky deck of a Miami resort with rhymes reflecting on his rise atop woozy production from the Atlanta-bred hitmaker. The two previously connected on “Back Door” in 2016, and it appears they’re ready to unleash more work together with the Jimmy Digital mixtape set to release later this year.

Last month Jimmy Wopo shared “Aye Ike” featuring Snapdogg and a remix to Lil Baby’s “Freestyle,” kicking off 2018 with a head of steam on the heels of a year that found the young rapper bursting onto the national radar while also facing a set back as he served two months in prison for probation violation stemming from a trip to NYC to promote his Jordan Kobe mixtape last Spring. Following his release in late Summer and the release of his Back Against the Wall mixtape, Mass Appeal’s Wopo’s Home documentary observed the rapper’s role in the city and aspirations for his path in music to provide inspiration for the youth in the neighborhood that raised him, Pittsburgh’s Hill District.
