Lyric Video: DOT – Who The Greatest Is

It isn’t everyday that a newcomer can begin a roll out for their first official independent project and yield a #4 spot on the UK urban charts, land G-Unit’s Uncle Murda on a single while also gaining massive attention on some of the biggest platforms on the web. That is exactly what New York rapper DOT has been able to accomplish with his recent releases “Bound 2 See,” and “You Need It, I Got It.” Already an established producer and A&R within the music industry for quite some time, landing placements and working with the likes of Tony Yayo, Jim Jones and more, DOT eventually began rubbing shoulders with the industry’s elite, which led him to pursue his own career as an MC. Blessed by hip-hop icon, Chuck D of Public Enemy, who urged DOT to save his best ideas for himself, the rest was history.

Now, with all of the backing already in place, DOT has begun the journey with his soon-to-be released projected titled Start The Hate. The momentum leading up to the release has been stellar, with major publications and listeners taking notice. As things continue to kick into higher gears, DOT is slated to open up for Kendrick Lamar during his European tour at the top of 2018. This along with a collaboration with Dipset’s own Jim Jones and Juelz Santana, as well as a joint mixtape with DJ Whoo Kid following the album’s release. It’s safe to say 2018 will be a breakout year for DOT. To quench the appetite of his following during the holiday season, today he unveils the official lyric video for his new single “Who The Greatest Is”.
